Hello to All Model Railroaders!

Bruce's Train Shop originated in 1995 when Bruce Eldredge bought Whistle Stop Trains, a long established model train store. Since then, we have grown to be the largest model train store in Northern California. We stock over 100,000 items in our 6,000 square feet of floor space. Our staff is experienced in all areas of Model Railroading, and we are here to serve all your model railroad wants and needs.

We are about 30 minutes from Sacramento International airport and about 20 minutes from the great California State Historical Train Museum. Bruce's carries all the major gauges in model railroading: N, HO, HOn3, G, O, On30, On3 and Lionel/MTH. We also carry a few Die Cast metal pieces as they look great on layouts.

Since Bruce's Train Shop stocks several hundred lines and thousands of individual items, we find it impossible to maintain an in-store or on-line catalog, so we recommend the Walther's catalog.

We accept orders via phone, FAX, mail and of course, e-mail. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards, checks, money orders and blank drafts in U.S. Currency. We have a satisfaction guaranteed policy with a 10 day return period. If you are not happy, a refund or credit will be provided if you return the item unharmed. See our store policy for details.

We have hundreds of items on consignment. Please be advised that consignment items are priced by the owner. We cannot put these items into layaway and no sales or discounts ever apply.

If you have any brass around collecting dust, give our consignment program a try. We charge you nothing for the advertising we will do to sell your merchandise and we collect only a 20% fee, sent to you 20 to 30 days after the sale of the merchandise.Call us for more details.

Give us a call if you have questions or e-mail us. We check our e-mail daily and answer as soon as possible. Keep in mind there are a lot of fellow model railroaders who browse the Internet Bulletin Boards daily, so please post your general questions on these Bulletin Boards and your questions will often be answered by a number of experts who will get immense joy out of helping you.

The NMRA organization is also very large and full of information. They have numerous clubs and would welcome your participation. Contact the NMRA for more information.

We hope to see you in the future. Your patronage is critical to our success here and customer service carries a top priority.
